Joint Ventures in Construction

Adrian Bastianelli is the co-managing partner of Peckar & Abramson's Washington, DC office. He has drafted and handled numerous disputes arising out of Joint Venture agreements. Mr. Bastianelli is a fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers and has served on its Board of Governors and as the co-chair of its ADR Committee. He also is a past Chair of the American Bar Association (ABA) Forum on the Construction Industry and past President of the Washington Building Congress. He received the prestigious Cornerstone Award from the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry. Mr. Bastianelli served as the Editor of both The Journal of the American College of Construction Lawyers and The Construction Lawyer. He is a co-editor of Federal Government Construction Contracts and Construction ADR .He has an active ADR practice, having served as an arbitrator and a mediator on hundreds of disputes.

Paul Monte is the co-managing partner of Peckar & Abramson’s New York office. He concentrates his practice in construction and government contract law. Mr. Monte counsels many of the nation’s leading civil, road, tunnel, and infrastructure contractors and has successfully settled and litigated numerous complex claims against public and private owners, including agencies and authorities of the State and City of New York, the various divisions of the MTA, and the Port Authority. Mr. Monte has regularly drafts and negotiates Joint Venture agreements and has been involved in resolving numerous disputes arising out of Joint Venture agreements.

Michael C. Zisa is the co-managing partner of Peckar & Abramson’s Washington, D.C. office where he focuses his practice on construction, surety and government contracts law and chairs the Firm’s Surety practice group.  For over twenty years, Mike has assisted contractors and sureties in all aspects of their business – from contract review and negotiation to contract administration and claim development and prosecution to litigation in federal and state as well as various contract appeals boards and alternative dispute resolution forums.
